Traveling with children? Here's what your need to know about car seat requirements when using Go Port's shared shuttle transportation.
Car Seats Are Not Provided
Go Port does not provide car seats for children on our shuttles.
Why Aren't Car Seats Required?
In accordance with Florida Statute section 316.613, car seats are not required on commercial shared transportation, such as shuttles, taxis, and buses. This includes Go Port's shared shuttle services between the airport, hotels, and Port Canaveral.
What This Means for Families
- Children are welcome to ride on Go Port shuttles without a car seat
- If you prefer to use your car seat, you may bring it. Please note that our seats are standard coach-style and may not be compatible with all car seat models
- Lap seating is permitted for infants and small children, but the decision is at the discretion of the parent or guardian
Your child's safety is important to us, and we encourage families to make the travel choice that feels most comfortable for them.
